0. BACKUP THE FILE!

1. Try opening the file and reindexing. Better yet, if you have the index tags for the CDX, blow away the CDX and build the indexes from scratch and reindex. (Will catch bad indexes).

2. Open an empty file with the same structure and indices and do an APPEND FROM the other table. (That may resolve problems with memo field corruption.)

3. Look at the file repair utilities on this site and try them out (on the forum home page, look under "Downloads" I believe). (Some of these can fix file damage of corrupted file headers.)
