You can't... and shouldn't. You can put a colored icon that covers the entire button over it or use a shape to simulate one. You can't use the Win32 API because a VFP command button is not a Windows control. So, why shouldn't you? Form, menu, and object colors are supposed to be under the control of the user, per Windows GUI guidelines.
