Hi – I have suddenly encountered a new problem: VFP6/Win98: A form showing record in a parent table, as well as a couple of grids showing related tables. When I click the ’Add New’ record button
on my textbuttons, a window is opened – (behind my own window, so it took some time before I realized what was happening) , asking if I want to add record to the parent table only, the child table(s), or both.

I have never encountered this before – have always been able to add records to my parent tables without regard for the associated tables.

I just want to go straight to adding data as soon as I have clicked the Add key.

I have been changing the characteristics of my forms back and forth a bit, ’As Top Level Form’, ’In Top Level Form’, Always On Top true or false – but I have never experienced that this has had any effect on the behaviour of the add record function.

What can the problem be?

I use cursorsetprop buffering 4, and multilocks = on

Rolf
