>>>Hi,

>>>I am writing som VB code that uses ADO with an Access database. The back-end database is likely to change at some point in the future. At the moment, I create a table in code and populate it with relevant data. I then want to create a report using this table. However, I get a message saying that I do not have Read permissions on the table. This appears to be the case. How can I set read permissions to true when I create the table?

>No, it's not in a protected folder. I have tried creating the table in another database in the same folder and have no problems at all. The read permissions are set. I suspect it must be to do with the owner of the database.
Have you set permissions on tables using the Access security features?
