thanks for the reply. We are not using persistant relations or any triggers or code in the DBC. We only use the DBC because it is neede for buffering and transactions. The reason that I suspect the DBC is because the problem only occurs on an update where data is written back. The table buffering is set to 5 - optimistic table buffering and the current index is set to a key that is the same for all records in the work order. The problem happens when new records are added.
