I created a VFP app. with many data entry forms and all is fine until today. On a data entry screen the user selects a combo box setup as a pulldown list to display/select a location id. I created a cursor in the form's load event to display the location # and a descriptive name in the combo box. I have the control set to alias and record source set to the crsLocation.displayfld field. It has worked fine for months until today. When a user selects location id 2216 the app dies and the error messages says "Alias 'ALIAS' is not found." I have deleted the 2216 record from the table used to build the cursor and added the record to the table again. Still no luck. If you choose another record or change the sort order of the cursor to description name then the location id it works fine when 2216 is selected.

When it dies the debug opens at the read event for the app. The field displayed is a character field. There are other similar combo boxes on the form and they all work fine.

All ideas greatly appreciated.
