I have looked into the code, and suppose I could eliminate the problem. But a big question remains: I have been developing this application over a number of years(!), and just suddenly this problem appears.

To find where the offending code was hiding, I had to insert some set step on commands, and then I found that somewhere along the line I was switched from
'wizbtns.vcx' to 'wizstyle.vcx', a 'oAddRec = CREATE("GridAddRec") created the 'runaddform' which halted execution, waiting for input.

I would appreciate if anyone could explain what may lie behind this sudden change in behaviour.

One slight suspicion: Is it possible that I have been using an old vcx library from VFP5.0, and somehow have overwritten it with a VFP6.0 during a recent reinstallation of the hlep library? I don't know if this function was any different in 5.0, but as I said, the problem has just suddenly appeared.
