I'd like to write some code for a combo box that will automatically fill in the text portion with the closest matching item in the combo box as you type. You can do this easily with Visual Basic, i have some examples here at the office but I can't seem to find a way to do it with VFP 5.0. The VB example uses the SendMessage API call but that requires a handle to the object you want to send a message to. How can you retrieve windows handles in VFP 5.0? Is there an easier way to write code which will automatically fill in the text portion as you type in a combo box?
