You must take into account, however, that .NET is and will continue to be MS #1 marketing initiative and that may take a considerable portion of the $30 billion.
VFP will continue to be used by it's existing market and MS probably does not have any major plans to grow that market. .NET on the other hand is geared towards the enterprise market and therefore a lot more is at stake.
