sounds like a great idea, but I can't seem to find where to do that!

( And I searched my VFP Help and my Hackers Guide! )

Do you mean the Main Menu > Project > Project Info >Project > debug info > check box? THAT is always ticked, but the program line SET STEP ON returns a source code error if I run in my REAL environment, even if I say , , < DO my_exe > from the command window! But if I put myprog.prg in the 'path' directory with the .exe, all is well! So I end up with lines like
if file(myprog.prg)
set step on
endif
and of course neglect to delete

The debug works fine in the development environment!
