I agree, it's a bit strange that it works with the textbox enabled but not the checkbox - that kind of points to a problem with the Checkbox < g > .

Is the checkbox a VFP baseclass or one of your own?
Are you adding it programatically or visually?

All that I can suggest is stepping through it to see what's going on
