No problem. I have been dealing with these people for 10 years. I have tried various lengths and styles of instructions. Nothing works with them. As for my 7-pages, they were primarily pictures of the screen with a 1 or 2 sentence explanation of the screen and what they were supposed to do. Without pictures, the instructions would have been less than 1 page.

Heck, I have even sent them a 1-page sheet with one sentence that said to Click the UNZIP button when the autorun started up the self-extracting file on the CD I sent. Could they do that? Nope. Several stores clicked the Run Winzip button, then closed Winzip and thought they were done. Some people just have stupidity down to a fine art.

>Just a thought, without wishing to sound critical, but 7 pages even with pictures seems a bit excessive.

>I've found that the longer & more detailed the instructions are, the less likely they are to be read. A bit like CV's (aka resume's) - the longer & more detailed they are, the less likely they are to be thoroughly read, so minimise the chances of getting the job.

>Now I keep such instructions brief (preferably less than a page) (still some people screw it up - but less of them).
