what I am trying to do is update a Ms Access Database information I get from an Ascii file. The program is not pulling data from input box. The reason '?' in my sql string, I was told to do so. I was having problem with sqlexec command. I post the codes, Vlad (UT user told me to use the syntax and it worked). I tought sqlexec requires different syntax. What I tried to do with the codes I just post is make sure there is matching records before I issue the update command. It did not like the sql statement whenever I use 'AND'or 'OR' in the Where clause.
