Dear Craig
>Don't paraphrase what wasn't said. You can buy .Net servers today, therefore it is released.<
Ah. So we can expect the dotNET marketing to start at last, can we?
You can't escape, Craig. the double standard is glaring.
>>VFP will never get the marketing that VB does<<
For the record: nobody in this thread has mentioned about expecting VFP to get the same marketing as VB... except you.
>>Let's put it in perspective. Look at Works and what it gets in comparison to Office. That's a more realistic comparison.<<
If you are saying that VFP is to VB as Works is to Office as far as MS is concerned, then that explains a great deal. But I'm disappointed that MS did not make that a lot clearer a lot earlier. I'm sure I'm not alone in that.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
