Officially there were only 16 but if you knew how you could find all 32. So, in drive C: you actually had 32 'levels' you could put stuff on. If I remember correctly they'd all run from level 0 too, so you could hide EXEs from the casual snoopers. <g>

I also liked the function calls you could make to access things like where to insert your printer driver, etc.
