I have got this line,

$mess="part1 {vfpcode} inside {/vfpcode} part2 bla bla bal {vfpcode}here is the code as well{/vfpcode}";

simply I need to remove the text between {vfpcode} and {/vfpcode} with whatever?
how to do it in the most simple way
actually I know that i have to use $mess=~ s/ and something else
