Most likely you have an 'invisible' object there. Drag your Group Header DOWN, then use the mouse to select anything in the white space. I've done the same thing when I've added an invisible line to space items correctly - and then forgotten I'd put the line there. Or sometimes a textbox gets reduced to 1X1 pixel and essentially disappears.
