Announcing the release of the Mere Mortals Framework version 6.1!

This new version includes many enhanced features such as:

* Windows DNA-style Emissary and Executant business object classes for blazingly fast distributed applications—both desktop and Internet.

* Expanded documentation – our Developer’s Guide is now over 400 pages!

* Lighter weight business objects for faster Web applications

* Additional support for SQL Passthrough with client-server back ends

* Built-in multi-lingual capabilities.

* Broad support for XML data and messaging

* New Subject and Observer classes that allow you to add "publish and subscribe" capabilities to your desktop applications (for example, observing and responding to changes in one form from another form).

This new version of the Framework is free to developers who own the current version (6.0b).
