Thanks much for the replies. Spent a couple hours yesterday reading the articles and trying things out and it really is, as I had figured it must be, very simple.

Both Microsoft's and Rick Strahl's articles brought all of the pieces into place on what I've been hearing for the last two years but not really paying much attention to.

The world of possibilities is opening up once again :)
