Hello Everyone,

I am trying to set up a couple of virual FTP servers on my web server (NT 4.0 SP6 w/Option Pack 4) but I'm having problems setting up security. What I would like to do is :
1) use the anonymous account
2) setup a unique password for each virtual FTP server
3) force the user to enter the username and password regardless of the FTP client they are using, including a browser.

Here is what actually happens :
1) When using a command line client, I type in 'anonymous' as the username and must the the same password, regardless of which virtual site I am accessing.
2) If I use IE the browser lets me into the site without asking for a username or password. (I read in a book that users connecting with browsers such as IE are automatically authenticated using the IUSR_servername account. But I WANT them to enter a password.)

Any suggestions on how to accomplish my goals are greatly appreciated.

TIA
George Simon, MCP
