I am upgrading an application from 2.6 to VFP6, but I have a problem with the "add on the fly " forms that a user brings up when editing an employee file and then needs to add a new company code or dept code or plant code. In the 2.6 version the user would access a lookup screen of the particuliar field (i.e company code, plant code, dept code) if the needed code info wasn't there the user could simply "add" a new user which would bring another screen that would be blank and ready to input new info. With no code changes at all the VFP6 version at the "add" screen fills the info with an existing code info and then will not allow any editing and worse when user escapes the add screen that highlighted code is now deleted. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated
