>If these VFP publications are doing their job, I should hope that they would be making the case for reasons to upgrade without the need for ads from MS. More to the point is that people contemplating upgrading are weighing the future of VFP and their careers as VFP programmers as the basis for making this decision. On that count, Microsoft's pumping money into telling one thing to the VFP community, while signalling something else to the rest of the world is counter-productive.

Please, give me some examples where MS has said this.

That is soooo off base here. MS is still pushing VFP and will continue it's life. I talk to members of the Fox team on a regular basis. We've seen postings here from folks on the Fox team. And, that Fox team is hiring new people...not replacements for people that left. These are new positions. Now, let's take a look at the other arguement. That this is a deception. That would mean the Fox team would be in on it. If it was a deception, what reasons would Ricardo, Robert, Randy, Mike, and others have to continue working on the team. If I knew my product was dead, I'd be looking for the first place to jump somewhere else. Sorry, but the evidence stacks up to say that Fox is alive.
