Hi Jerry,

I've been independent, at least parttime, for the last 5 yrs. I do enyoy the flexibility and not having anyone looking over my shoulder or telling me what software to use or how to write code. One piece of advice: maintain you billing, keep it up todate. I get so busy that I haven't always done what I preach. It's embarrising to send a client a bill for $$,$$$ for the last six months of work (even parttime) even thought I sent estimates before hand.
