Just remember, with freedom comes lots of responsibility.

You need to have a good relationship with 2 other key people, your accountant and your attorney. Your attorney should have a specialization in computer and contract law. I have 2 attorneys. One for computer law specifics and the other for general business like setting up a corporation.

I also highly recommend QuickBooks Pro for invoicing and project time tracking.
