I have a client who is using an old Okidata impact printer for printing checks and invoices. It is cumbersome, tempermental and needy. They have to constantly play with "the bar" that holds the paper down so it doesn't jam and always lose the first page (not the checks though as there is enough paper above what prints to hold it) of their forms. Anyone know of a good impact printer that is relatively trouble free, works cleanly with Windows98 and Foxpro (DOS converted to FPW2.6) and is under or around a thousand bucks? Thanks!
