>>why should we have to sell it to anyone. We can make a suggestion, but it is not our job to spread the "Gosple" of VFP. If the boss wants to use VB, so be it. If the boss wants to use C builder, so be it... whatever. But it is not, absolutly not, our job to promote VFP all over the world. VFP will live or die on its own merits.

>You are right in saying that it isn't OUR job to spread the "gosple" of VFP. But in my case, the boss will listen to fair reason, and if I was to say that he/she will benefit most from using VFP, then 9/10 times they will listen, not just go ahead and say, "Right, we will use VB" because that is just downright stupid!

>There are a lot of times when bosses will pick up on rumours about VFP dying, and, in my opinion it's up to the people who know more about it, to stop them in their tracks, if they don't, then they obviously don't give a s@#!!

I've never understood the proliferation of the misspelling of the word "definitely". Is "definAtely" an alternate spelling or phonetically correct or something? Do you spell "finite" that way too?

Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine.
