I am using Outlook 2000 (now 2002) from RAS dialups. With a webmail account, I can "leave messages" on an Exchange Mail Server easily (there is a checkbox to do this). I often need to do this, using remote access, so I will have message copies available at my worksite.
However, our security has recently become tighter, and I can no longer send messages out using SMTP webmail accounts. I have given up trying to resolve that, I'm quite sure it's impossible now.
Using a RAS Corporate account setup, although slower, works fine when I test it, except that I can find no way to change my account setup to "leave messages on server." Does anyone know a way to do this? I thought of not marking message as "read," but not sure if that will work...
Has anyone been through this before, and found an easy solution to leave mail on an Exchange Server using a Corporate-style account?
