>>Well, I have no good news. I tried Hyperterminal and Procomm (Both DOS and Windows) and they all react exactly the same. Seems like the problem is elsewhere other than the MScomm32.ocx. Putting the terminal in Monitor Mode (CTRL 1 and ESC U) and I see your command by the book. Why the terminal doesn't respond properly is beyond me. All I have at hand is a "Quick Reference Guide" to the MC-5. Gives all the codes but doesn't expound any. What should this command really do for you?

www.wrq.com ), but that is missing some functionality that I need. The command should do nothing more than release a phone call made on a DEC machine and start a new one. I have nothing yet, but I'm still working. Actually, I've created a VB ocx using the reflection terminal that I can add the event driven functionality that I need. This seems to work, dropping the control on a Foxpro form. It is still not ideal though. Let me know if you need anything with this, I've learned quite a bit about it the past week or so. Thanks again,

Whoa, John. I am a bit lost, now. Are you trying to drive the terminal to drive the DEC? If so, show me your hardware setup.
