There has actually NEVER been anyone who has said anything negative about the fact that he used Fox and not VB, and in fact many times the VB'ers end up asking about VFP, it's capabilities and especially about the command window!

Hi Ellen,

I'm not entirely surprised that the VB community is receptive to VFP, especially now, as they face a somewhat traumatic transition. It makes sense that we should take advantage of this opportunity, and it makes sense for MS to give the disgruntled VB-ers an option that keeps them in the fold. Now if we can just get a little help from Microsoft to dispel possible misgivings people may have about jumping from the frying pan into the fire... There's great potential in what Nancy and you are talking about.

Mike
