>>I'm just kinda curious...do you yourself frequent non-VFP venues such as user groups, subscribe to VBPJ, for example? Perhaps you could make a presentation to a VB user group on what you're doing with VFP?

>Now that is a great marketing concept! Since there are more VB developers than VFP, getting the attention of the largest audience of Microsoft development tools is something we could all approach. Here in Silicon Valley, we have our share of VB developers. If I were really brave, I would approach the Java developers – they outnumber all other developers combined, at least in my area!
Sure. Heck I like being in the Seattle area. I have a lot of availability for user groups and went to a presentation by Carl Prothman (VB MVP) on ADO.NET. We all introduced ourselves and nobody actually laughed at me that I'm a VFP developer and they were even nice. :) Actually we all had a lot of common ground. I bet you you have valuable information to share that's independent of VFP or not VFP. IOW, you can make it pertinent other other developers.
