Well, my problem is probably overwhelming me. I need to import some data from many tables into one. I have Win NT 4.0, set to use Slovak locale setting. In CONFIG.FPW for VFP I have CODEPAGE=1250 ( Central European that best fits extended chars. ) and all tables in database are marked with codepage 1250. CPCURRENT() returns 1250, CPCURRENT(1) returns 1252, and CPCURRENT(2) returns 437. Here it goes. From our branches I get tables that are not marked with any CP. But the contain data in CP 895. So I mark them with CPZERO ('table', 895) and scan every table from branch and then doing some character operations like UPPER(), PROPER() etc. to get correct clients account name, addres, town and finally I put these data into table ALL_CLNTS ( insert into ...). But In table that is filled with these values I can't see codepage specific characters correctly. I can't find where is problem. CPCONVERT doesn't work it returns even wors character. Hints, suggestions? tia Dezider --
