Mark, I don't know about VFP6, but in VFP5 a Picture and Caption lead to the overruling of the caption. Can it be so that on the Click you change (or add) the Caption ?
If VFP6 is the same as VFP5, you just cannot have both at the same time, and maybe you just found out a way to do this (but not in all situations) !
BTW (VFP5 anyhow) a Caption and Picture (and much more) is "allowed" if you make your own buttons with a few containers.
If you already have this, then maybe you Zorder() (wrongly :)) on the Click ?
