I remember there was a function that was returning if we are defaulting or not to the parent class.

Basically, I already had it in my base class Init().
IF NOT PEMSTATUS(This,'InputMask',0)
...
to detect if I had overwritted the default.

The reason it didn't work is because I first changed it in the Format property instead of the InputMask property. <s>
