Evan,

>I bought my first TV in 1995, never had a VCR until Kimberly moved in, in about 1997.

I'm impressed...I think that so much of what is on TV is a huge waste of time...I only get basic cable (US network TV one week delayed and CNN). I watch a bit of CNN to keep in touch w/(some of) the things that are happening in the world -that's International CNN, no US CNN...and, of course, Rogert Ebert's show on Sunday night.

>>>I am going to take next Friday afternoon off to see the first showing of Tomb Raider. Yeah!
>It is the one with Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft spawned from the Tomb Raider video game. The Mummy followup wasn't as good as the original.

Ahhhh...I'll be interested to know how you like it...and if Angelina's lips are as big as ever.

> did you see Gods and Monsters? one of my favorite films of all time. I think I've seen it ....ummm....eight times?

>>Excellent film!
glad to hear that you liked it...I keep wanting to share it w/a friend who hadn't seen it.

>I rarely have the motivation to see a movie more than once
me too, actually. I also, though, saw Pulp Fiction twice - the second time was just a few months ago...the first time, I was in a weird place and didn't really appreciate it...this time I chuckled quite a bit.

>I'd like to see Momento again
still waiting to see that one.

I'm off to see Pearl harbor - bye.

J
