>>I watched Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon last night. Not very impressed. I could line up a dozen Jackie Chan flicks I'd rather have watched.

>Theatre or video?
The
first movie I've watched on
tape in months (as opposed to DVD). I don't get to the theaters much because I have a wonderful home theater setup and I live alone.
I watch tons of movies, especially in the summer, but I don't spend much time analyzing them. I think that's because I perform as well and I enjoy theater/movies just for the experience.

>>I was left with one burning question at the end. The younger sister (Showloon?) flies through the entire movie, but then she at the end she's trudging up the stairs to the top of the mountain. Why?

>Never noticed that.
I thought that was a big hole in the plot. But, of course, she had to so that they could bring back the reference to the man who threw himself off the mountain to get his wish, but was unhurt. It was simply a dramatic device, commonly used in many stories.
