Some people have very large/expensive/etc. systems that form their livelihood and wish to see it continue and GROW. "Something else" might be an option that puts them out of business.
Other know they are onto something good and simply want to keep the ball rolling and they care enough to say so.
Still others are not at all interested in "learning" their 6th, 7th or 8th language - they want that to stop and stick to a great tool and spend some of their remaining hours of life living and not always learning-for-a-living.
A few even just want MS to DO something tangible for them and VFP.

We now know your opinion. Hopefully you csan be tolerant of others with different needs/priorities/wishes.
