So close to Hong Kong, but never seen a movie of his. Strange. He is the #1 box office draw in Hong Kong. I like him because he doesn't pretend that this stuff is serious. It's all for fun, he does his own stunts and shows bloopers in the closing credits.

I accepted this as a simple dramatic technique. Audiences eat it up when something from earlier in the show repeats itself later. However, you're right. It makes no sense and my daughter asked the same question.
