I read something a while back but cannot find the source. The author noted some differences between the default properties of a form (scx variety) created via "create form" and how vfp will change the default properties and not "BOLD" the changes in the properties window when we create a form via subclassing the vfp base class. I don't "do" forms. I "create class myform from form" and then create the object at run time and then make the form visible.

This is the problem.
If you drag the leadtools main image control activex from the toolbar onto a vfp form created via the "create form" command, the form runs fine and is visible. But if you drag the same activex onto a form that I created by using "create class myform from form", then the form is invisible when I create the associated form object and make it visible.

Do you think the problem is in the defaults properties of the two different forms.
