Your question and Steve's answer just improved my base textbox class -- my thanks!
One thing I did differently and thought I'd pass along is...
I check for SelStart = 0 and SelLength = 0 That way if the user highlights text and wants to delete it using the backspace, they still can.
Just my 2 cents...
