There are countless reasons why many (including myself) don't do betas. But we do listen for tidbits after betas are released and we sure do pick up things.
BUT that leaves no indication of what is left on the wish list and left out of that release.

A beta and the content of the "wish list" are 2 very different things. Keeping interested parties informed is a different issue than offering a beta.

I also find that much wish list stuff is too poorly described. If the VFP Team published a list then those that cannot be properly understood could be so indicated, giving the community a chance to clarify things.
Right now we know nothing of what's on the list or where it might stand. This gives the VFP team maximum flexibility but at the same time it gives VFP adherents maximim darkness.
