I need to pass the RS since I use the function's return value to indicator extra information (like, operation success or not, no. of records, etc).

The sample I write is only for test purpose. Moreover, my COMs are used RS to communicate with each other. I can't change the COM since my VB program are working fine. Actually, I think the COM should be working both in VB and VFP. But now it's seem VFP have some problem in accessing the COM in MTS.
