I also use w2k. If it's enabled and you're working on a form and have a power failure you generally end with all chr(0) .sc* files :( It even doesn't need to be the form in design mode at times :( Hope you never see and heard of it :)
Setting it to disabled doesn't guarantee but increase chances to recover from power failures.
A good way of forcing me to use VSS :)
