>One other thing to check is if you are using combo boxes to display data and the array that populates it is over 250 items (number of items can vary from 100 to 250 depending on string length of each item) you will get an insufficient memory error. Check that as well. Solution is to replace a combo box with a jkey.fll browse grid or build a form that the list can be picked from .

This is a good point, especially if you have popup -or regular- list boxes based on arrays that are populated by a SQL-SELECT. These can grow in size over the years and could cause the app to suddenly get Insufficient Memory errors. I had the very thing happen in a FoxPro for Dos app once.

The biggest culprit for us was the Windows NT memory settings, though. When we switched from DOS and OS/2 to Windows NT we had FoxPro for DOS apps getting out of memory errors all over the office until we figured out that NT's "Auto" memory was being fooled by FPD's memory manager.
