Hi all,

I have a VFP5 system that runs on an NT server with more than 100 users. Occassionally, say 2-3 times in a month, the system gives the below message:

"Error Loading file: Record Number 4 CAPF (or one of its members) Loading form or the dataenvironment: File Access is denied"

The record # 4 in the .scx is the 'Form'. I use the Data Environment to open/close files.

The Exe and all DBF files are all on the server. (I now plan to shift the exe to individual machines and keep only the dbfs on the server)

Please let me know what could be causing this? How will I know which of the DBFs is locked? (I do not use any Flock and set exclusive is always off.) What could be done when this happens so that users can proceed instead of shutting down?
