>Well I just had a GREAT experience. Anyone else ever have their SC? files corrupted when the power flickers, and your machine reboots? Power barfed this morning, and I had 8 hours worth of work replaced with HTML code from jokeaday.com. Can you guess who's going to be getting a UPS?

>Seriously Frustrated,

I've found my W2K will blow away Form data environments on open forms if it hangs and you are forced to use the task manager to kill your VFP dev session.

(W2K hangs? While I've found that W2K is more stable than any other WinXX OS I've run in the past, it still crashes on occasions and seems to do a 'phantom' (background) reboot on occasions. If an app crashes W2K usually blows it away and recovers graciously, but on occasions I have to reboot. I frequently code while listing to music on http://www.mycpr.com. I've noticed that if I have accessed any video or audio during a surfing session with IE, IE will throw a memory allocation error when I close it. If I see that happen, experience has taught me it is safer to reboot W2K rather than risk blowing up my VFP dev session, or any other session.)
