I have a burned, CD that was bought at an auction. It containes Visual Studio 6.0 Entrprise edition. I use this CD to load source safe onto the computers.
The problem is, this paticular client machine will not load the data. It will come up with the Screen that tells you all about the wounderful things that VS has and in the lower right hand corner is a thmometer bar that lets the user see the progress.
well, this bar gets to 2% and stops, I have waited at least 10 minutes to see if it would move, it did not. After this happens the machine freezes and if you try to leave by CTRL+ALT delete and chose shut down it will not let you out, a dialog comes up that says debug is running, stop dubeg to exit.

I have no Idea where the debug is running. So, the only way to exit is to cut the machine off.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so how can I get around this. I need to load sourcesafe onto his machine!!!

I have no problem loading it onto three other machines.
