Oh, ok. Actually I did remember. I had a combobox class that was linked to a particular field. Like an "employee combo". The SQL was in the class. I ran into a problem where I had more than one of the same combo class on one form and the cursors clashed. I didn't know about the SYS() function to generate unique names back then, so I had to do some kludge to fix it. Don't remember what anymore, but it wasn't as neat as this idea.
