LOL! Maybe I have high expectations. I don't like having to carry a lot of things. I'd like a PDA and I'd like an MP3 Player. I'd really like to have the two merged into one, but 1GB isn't many MP3s.

Actually, I do have an ideal hand-held computer in mind. It would be something about the size of a current PDA with a huge hard drive and lots of connectors. Everywhere you go there would be essentially dumb terminals with keyboard, monitor, mouse, maybe other things. Then you hook your PDA up to it and you have your system ready to go. So you can take all your data and software everywhere you go all in one small device.

Yeah, I know, it's not very realistic. These days the trend seems to be towards many seperate devices. Putting computers in everything from phones to toasters. I guess I'm an oddball. I like the idea of one centralized device to carry everything I need.
