Besides the Filespec directory, I'd suggest that you look at John Koziol's article that appeared in the VFUG newsletter a few months ago, on the Report table's meta data.

Beyond that, it's a bit tough to know the answer because you're a little vague on what you're trying to do. Add fields? Kinda tough. Add variables? Easier.
