You can send and download files through FTP, if you know login and password. Otherwise there is no way.

You can store this info in some table for each customer. You may want to encrypt data, if you want to provide some security.

For FTP we implemented Robert Abram class, which you can find in Download section here. Most people recommend to use West-Wind FTP class instead.
